Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Wisconsin manufacturing team. In this hands-on role you will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read and interpret engineering drawings, and produce high-precision parts that meet tight tolerances for powertrain components.

You will document production data, participate in ongoing improvements, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and collaborate with a skilled team that values quality, reliability, and open communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC setup/operation experience (horizontal & vertical preferred).
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol and G code.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle larger parts with hoists.
• A commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC mills and lathes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and GD&T.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Document production and quality data.
• Perform light machine maintenance and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
