Job summary

Jetseal, Inc. in Spokane, WA, is seeking a skilled Machinist to operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to produce high-precision parts.

The role emphasizes adherence to specifications, fixture setup, and tool changes while maintaining safe, efficient shop practices. You will collaborate with shop teams, inspect dimensions with precision instruments, adjust feeds and speeds, and support rework when needed to meet exacting standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual and CNC machine tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Remove and replace dull cutting tools.
• Mount, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces on machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Listen to machines during operation to detect issues and adjust as needed.
• Adjust feed, speed, and tooling when programming or machines malfunction.
• Stop machines to change tooling or setup according to machining sequences.
• Move materials and equipment as required.
• Support rework to meet final product specifications.
