Job summary

Leoforce in Whittier, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components. You will read blueprints and GD&T, perform tool changes, offsets, and first article inspections.

Collaborate with engineering and production to meet deadlines in a safety-focused environment. You will work with aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other specialty metals while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality.

Qualifications

3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience performing complete machine setups independently.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture precision components.
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and first article inspections.
Monitor production while maintaining tight tolerances and exceptional quality standards.
Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
Make tool wear adjustments and program edits at the machine when necessary.
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
Work with aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other specialty metals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet customer deadlines.
