Job summary

Advanced Technology Group in Westminster, CO is seeking a skilled Machinist III to operate CNC and manual machines following safety practices and process manuals. You will program and run CNC operations and verify part accuracy against drawings, adjusting controls to keep dimensions within tolerance.

The role requires reading complex blueprints, setting up jobs on Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, Siemens, and Haas controls, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Ten years of related machine shop experience and/or training.
• Proven CNC machinist with knowledge of Mazak, Fanuc, Siemens, Haas.
• Ability to read complex machining blueprints.
• Ability to write simple programs for multiple CNC controllers.
• Strong measurement skills with standard tools.
• Lean manufacturing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machinery per safety and procedures.
• Program and run CNC operations and verify part accuracy against drawings.
• Set up and run complex machining on Haas Mill, Tiger Cut Mill, Mori Seiki Lathe & Mill.
• Observe machine operation and adjust controls to maintain tolerances.
• Inspect parts during run and after completion for dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and document processes.
