Job summary

GPAC is seeking a CNC Machinist in Michigan to join a stable, growing manufacturing company. You will interpret complex drawings, program sheets, and instructions to determine work and perform turning, milling, drilling, and related operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC mill/lathe experience, excellent attendance, and a reliable team player mindset. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, program sheets, and instructions to determine work.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to tight tolerances.
• Manage setup and changeover.
• Conduct inspection and gaging to maintain quality standards.
• Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness of machine, tooling, and parts.
