Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience setting up and operating CNC machines independently.
• Experience with Mazak and/or FANUC control systems.
• Knowledge of machining centers, turning centers, and CNC bridge mills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Working knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, and material properties.
• Ability to apply algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to machining and part manufacturing.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machine tools, including machining centers, turning centers, and bridge mills with minimal supervision.
• Manufacture precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Measure components, raw materials, and finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues to maintain productivity and quality.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and machining best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
