Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies seeks an experienced Machinist for hydraulic systems work, including machining of manifolds and related components. You will operate CNC setups and manual machines, reading drawings and BOMs while maintaining quality and safety on a team-focused site in the U.S.

The role emphasizes long-term career paths, on-site work, and adherence to precise spec sheets, with opportunities tied to performance and company programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of machinist experience including CNC setup and G-code knowledge.
• 10+ years of manual machine operation (lathe, grinder, etc.).
• Ability to develop and manufacture fixturing.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Machine small, medium & large components for hydraulic systems from drawings and specifications.
• Use lift equipment to move parts and materials as needed.
• Record job information including inspection documentation and sign off.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Detect and report defective equipment or materials and follow safety rules.
• Ensure calibration of gauges used for final accept/reject criteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
