Job summary

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced CNC Operator/Machinist for a full-time day-shift role in Baltimore, MD. This hands-on position requires independent setup, operation, and precision machining on Haas milling centers in a job-shop environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of hands-on CNC machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and proven ability to set up and adjust tooling, feeds, and speeds with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on CNC machining experience required.
• Hands-on CNC milling machine setup experience required.
• Ability to independently operate CNC milling centers required.
• Strong understanding of Haas milling centers or comparable equipment required.
• Ability to perform end-to-end machine setups required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information.
• Determine machining methods and sequences to fabricate parts.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with precision measuring tools.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and part quality throughout machining.
