Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics, located in Bristol, RI, is hiring an Experienced CNC Machinist (2nd shift) to produce tight tolerance plastic and metal parts using CNC and manual equipment. You will run multiple machines, perform setups, verify dimensions, and maintain documentation with a focus on quality and safety.

The role requires at least 2 years of CNC milling/lathe experience, blueprints and GD&T understanding, and the ability to work with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years CNC milling/lathe experience.
• Set-up or program edits are a plus.
• Understanding of blueprints and GD&T needed.
• Ability to read measuring tools to .0001 inch.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to tight tolerances; may run multiple machines.
• Identify critical dimensions; measure parts with minimal guidance.
• Document all activities each shift accurately.
• Troubleshoot problems; replace dull tooling as needed.
• Maintain lot traceability with correct materials documentation.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Adhere to AS9100 requirements and participate in continuous improvement.
