Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification, associate degree, or related training in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience with ability to run complex parts to tight tolerances.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fanuc controls, G/M code programming, CAM programming, and CNC setup/operation.
• Proficiency in reading/in­terpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, datum structures, and tolerancing requirements.
• Experience with Renishaw probing systems and ISO-certified manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine machining requirements, materials, tooling, tolerances, and setup needs.
• Create, modify, merge, and optimize CAM programs and G/M code for CNC machinery using Fanuc controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform complete machine setups, including material verification, tooling selection, tool presetting, fixturing, work offsets, and machine alignment.
• Operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers, CNC Press Brake, CNC Waterjet, and other machinery to manufacture parts to drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Monitor tool wear, adjust offsets, and ensure proper clearances and tolerances; maintain fixtures; and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior machinists; ensure safe, clean, and organized work areas in compliance with ISO standards.
