Job summary

Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established Berne, IN manufacturing company to hire a Senior CNC Machinist for a full-time opportunity. The role requires independent setup, troubleshooting, and program edits while holding tight tolerances on complex blueprints.

Ideal candidates will read prints, select tooling, and adjust programs to consistently produce quality parts. This is a true senior-level position with first shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school certification or equivalent hands-on machining experience preferred.
• Advanced CNC machining experience (setup + program editing required).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints independently.
• Strong understanding of tooling selection and machining applications.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and adjust programs, tooling, and processes.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and run CNC machines for precision part production.
• Machine parts to exact tolerances based on complex blueprints.
• Load, edit, and adjust CNC programs to match tooling and job requirements.
• Select proper tooling and make adjustments based on material and application.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and material issues independently.
• Perform hand finishing work such as filing, fitting, and scraping.
• Record labor and production data accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire a Senior CNC Machinist for a full time opportunity. This role is ideal for a highly skilled machinist who can independently set up, troubleshoot, and make program edits while holding tight tolerances.
