Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant license in Florida.
• Must be able and willing to work on a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of due diligence, Level II background check and drug test.
• Experience as CNA in a 120-bed long-term care facility.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL nursing care: oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, hair and nails, shaving, toileting, meals and mobility.
• Observe, report resident concerns to supervisor.
• Escort residents to appointments and complete duties timely.
• Perform restorative nursing measures per care plan.
• Positioning, transfers, and bed making per routine.
• Record vital signs and intake/output per care plan.
• Use mechanical lifts and ROM exercises safely.
• Provide appropriate end-of-life care when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation in EHR.
