Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA seeks a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician in Odessa, TX. You will perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project compliance. Training will be provided, and certification opportunities may arise.

Candidates with ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications are preferred. You will produce detailed reports, operate safely, and communicate with dispatch and clients daily.

Qualifications

• +3 year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; a truck is preferable.
• Must pass a DISA drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• TWIC card (preferred).
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Capable of maintaining an "On Call" type schedule and must be willing to work obscure hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests such as concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight) and casting cylinders for compressive strength.
• Soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil classification tests (as applicable).
• Asphalt density testing and pavement core sampling.
• Pile monitoring during installation to document capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner and follow our corporate safety procedures at all time.
• Follow all company's procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients.
• Arrive at the job site to which you are dispatched, on time each day.

RESPONSIBILITIES
