Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced CMP Process expert with a strong Wafer Fab background to lead advanced CMP operations and analytics.

The role focuses on diagnosing complex CMP/process issues, leading customer discussions on High Value Problems, and executing Continuous Improvement Projects. You will drive adoption of FabVantage service tech and coordinate on-site evaluations, while mentoring junior engineers and expanding CMP knowledge across the team.

Qualifications

BS - Engineering required.
10+ years of experience in CMP Process.
Wafer Fab Process / Equipment experience.
Strong ability to communicate complex ideas at senior levels.
Regarded as the technical expert in CMP Unit Process and Wafer Fab operations.

Responsibilities

Be the technical expert in CMP Process with strong Wafer Fab background.
Lead data analytics to identify, troubleshoot, and solve CMP-related issues.
Lead discussions with customers to understand High Value Problems and propose improvements.
Drive adoption of new service technologies and on-site evaluations.
Mentor junior MPEs and contribute to CMP networks.
Identify opportunities for CSA renewal / upsell.
