Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Sr. CMM Programmer/Quality Inspector in Tempe, AZ. You will develop and run CMM programs, inspect parts against GD&T, and ensure measurement accuracy for aerospace-grade components.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering to resolve quality concerns, while guiding junior staff and supporting documentation. Requires strong GD&T knowledge and CMM software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and quality systems.
• Proficiency with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• 4–6 years in inspection/quality roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CMM inspection programs using CAD models and drawings.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain CMM equipment for accuracy.
• Inspect parts for GD&T compliance per drawings and specs.
• Troubleshoot measurement/programming issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze and document measurement data for quality records.
• Collaborate with quality/engineering to resolve issues.
