Micron Solutions is seeking a Senior CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) / Metrologist to lead metrology strategy, develop complex inspection programs, and support manufacturing quality. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in metrology, CMM programming, quality engineering, or precision manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of hands-on CMM programming experience.
• Strong proficiency with Hexagon PC-DMIS programming.
• Solid understanding of dimensional metrology and measurement system analysis.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Experience performing Gage R&R, Bias Studies, and SPC analysis.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment, including optical and mechanical inspection tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Metrology & Inspection: Program, set up, and operate CMMs with a focus on Hexagon PC-DMIS.
• Develop measurement strategies for complex plastic and metal components.
• Program and operate vision measurement systems and advanced inspection equipment.
• Create and maintain CMM programs, inspection plans, and work instructions.
• Support dimensional inspections, first article inspections, and production verification.
• Perform Gage R&R, Bias Studies, and MSA activities.
• Develop and support SPC data collection systems.
• Train inspectors and manufacturing personnel on measurement methods and inspection requirements.
• Support QA & Continuous Improvement: analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
