Job summary

Micron Solutions seeks an experienced Senior CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) / Metrologist to lead metrology programs for complex plastic and metal parts. You will develop, validate, and maintain CMM programs, set up inspections, and drive quality improvements across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.

You will train staff on measurement methods, support QC data analyses, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in metrology, CMM programming, quality engineering, or precision manufacturing.
• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on CMM programming experience.
• Strong proficiency with Hexagon PC-DMIS programming.
• Solid understanding of dimensional metrology and MSA.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint reading.
• Experience with Gage R&R, Bias, and SPC analysis.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment, including optical and mechanical inspection tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Metrology & Inspection: Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), with a focus on PC-DMIS.
• Develop measurement strategies for complex plastic and metal components.
• Program and operate vision measurement systems and advanced inspection equipment.

• Support dimensional inspections, first article inspections, and production verification.
