Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to serve as Senior CMI Project Manager / Deputy CMI Market Sector Lead in the Northern Virginia and DC region. You will lead construction management and inspection efforts on transportation projects, coordinating with clients, inspectors, and engineers to ensure quality, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license in DC, MD or VA or reciprocity within 6 months.
• US Citizenship required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with VDOT or DDOT projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of CMI projects from planning through closeout.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact.
• Provide leadership on constructability reviews and field challenges.
• Support project owners and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and develop project teams.
• Coordinate engineers and inspectors to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards.
• Support business development and proposals.
