Job summary

Qualifications

• CMA certification (AAMA, RMA, NCMA or CCMA) is required.
• Current BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Associates Degree in Medical Assisting or high school diploma with experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, document signs/symptoms, and obtain vitals.
• Assist with procedures and set-up, including injections and EKGs.
• Act as EMR super-user and assist with onboarding.
• Schedule tests, radiology exams, and manage referrals and authorizations.
• Administer immunizations when directed and update immunization records.
• Handle phone triage, medication refills, and walk-in patient duties.
