You will lead Cloudflare Enterprise onboarding, design WAF policies, manage DNS and SSL/TLS, and work with cross-functional teams to standardise secure processes while ensuring performance and compliance.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Cloudflare WAF Security Consultant to support the implementation, optimisation, and operational readiness of enterprise web security capabilities across a large and complex digital estate.

This position combines hands‑on technical delivery with advisory responsibilities, focusing on accelerating Cloudflare WAF adoption, strengthening origin security, and improving the protection of customer‑facing services.

Role: Senior Cloudflare WAF Security Consultant

Contract Type: B2B Contract

Rate: 190 – 215 PLN / hour + VAT

Duration: Initial 3‑month contract (high potential for extension)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00 CET or 09:00 – 17:00 BST

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Onboarding: Lead the onboarding of domains and applications into Cloudflare Enterprise environments.

WAF Management: Design, implement, and optimise Cloudflare WAF policies across multiple platforms.

Traffic Routing & SSL/TLS: Configure and support DNS proxying, SSL/TLS settings, certificate management, and traffic routing.

Security Hardening: Identify and remediate weak cipher configurations and web security vulnerabilities.

Infrastructure Integration: Support integration with F5 load balancers and existing network infrastructure.

Origin Protection: Implement and optimise origin security controls.

Process Standardisation: Collaborate with engineering teams to establish secure onboarding and operational processes.

Monitoring & Observability: Support logging, monitoring, and security event integrations with enterprise observability platforms.

Advisory & Governance: Provide guidance on Cloudflare security capabilities and best practices.

Troubleshooting: Resolve complex web application security, networking, and traffic management issues.

Documentation: Contribute to documentation, standards, and reusable deployment patterns.

Key Requirements

Cloudflare Expertise: Extensive hands‑on experience with Cloudflare Enterprise environments.

WAF Specialisation: Strong expertise in WAF deployment, tuning, and ongoing optimisation.

Network & Cert Management: Demonstrated experience managing DNS proxying, SSL/TLS configurations, and certificate lifecycle management.

Web Security Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of web application architectures, modern threat vectors, cipher remediation, and reverse proxy mechanisms.

Enterprise Traffic Management: Practical experience working with F5 load balancers and enterprise traffic management solutions.

Scale Experience: Proven track record supporting large‑scale domain and application onboarding programmes.

Language Skills: English C1 (written and spoken) is required for seamless collaboration with international teams.

Soft Skills: Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders, paired with strong analytical and communication skills.
