Job summary

Softchoice is seeking a senior Cloud Architect to lead technical strategy across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will own multi-cloud transformations, governance, and guide engagements end-to-end from discovery to delivery.

You will mentor architects and consultants, partner with account teams, and drive measurable business outcomes through scalable cloud architectures and strong security controls.

Qualifications

• Executive presence with client leadership experience.
• Structured problem-solving to deliver actionable recommendations.
• Ability to travel up to 15% domestically.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest-level technical authority for cloud engagements - the final escalation point for design, architecture decisions, and technical risk across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-workstream cloud transformations: migrations, modernizations, cloud-native builds, multi-cloud governance, and cloud security frameworks
• Guide customers through provider-selection decisions with objectivity - recommending the right cloud platform based on workload fit, cost, compliance, and long-term strategy
• Review and approve architecture documents, deployment plans, technical assessments, and statements of work to ensure quality and alignment
• Stay at the leading edge of cloud innovation - translate emerging trends into practical service offerings
• Maintain active certifications across all three major cloud providers; represent Softchoice at industry events and customer advisory boards
