Job summary

Gormat is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer 3 to support the stability, scalability, and reliable operation of cloud-based networks and software systems, including system integration and performance improvements. This is a remote position with travel up to 25%.

The role requires driving stability, performing integration and verification activities, and developing engineering mechanisms to monitor health of distributed VMs, along with analyses for hardware and software specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Associate's degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• High School diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Drives the stability and sustainability of cloud-based networks and software systems for scaling and reliable operations.
• Performs system integration, verification and validation and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Creates proactive engineering mechanisms to manage the health of distributed VMs.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.
• Utilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes.
• Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configuration issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant professional experience

Associate's degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience

High School diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant professional experience
