Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-based solutions for GeForce NOW. You will work across teams to drive features, improve reliability, and advance the platform architecture with a focus on high performance and scalability.

The role requires strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud services, and multiple programming languages, including Java, Golang, and Python, with experience in Spring Boot and Kubernetes operators.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
12+ years of hands-on SaaS/PaaS experience.
Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and adaptability.
Proven experience in RESTful, gRPC, and backend services.
Deep cloud infrastructure and distributed systems knowledge.
Proficiency in Java, Go, and Python.
Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and container orchestration.
Experience with Cassandra and Redis.
Ability to write testable, maintainable, and performant code.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale distributed cloud-based systems for a high-performance platform.
Collaborate across teams to drive new features and improve reliability.
Influence technology stack, architecture, and development processes.
Drive automation, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Develop scalable test harnesses to validate system performance at scale.
