Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Sr System Software Engineer to build a cloud-based scientific computing platform. You will design and own cloud infrastructure for physics-informed workflows, spanning DL frameworks, numerical solvers, microservices, and GPU-accelerated computing.

You’ll optimize compute, storage and networking for data-intensive workloads. Requirements include a BS/MS in CS or related field and 10+ years in distributed compute on cloud platforms.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related areas or equivalent experience.
10+ years experience building and operating distributed compute and data intensive platform as a service on cloud.
Proven skill in a compiled language (Go, Rust, C++ or otherwise).
Strong foundational knowledge in Cloud Computing and virtualization.
Distributed Systems & Parallel Processing expertise including MPI, NCCL, fault tolerance and consensus.

Responsibilities

Design services and own underlying cloud infrastructure for physics-informed scientific workflows.
Develop algorithms and optimize performance across CPU/GPU stacks and microservices.
Build, deploy and operate scalable I/O infrastructure for data checkpointing and processing.
Improve compute, storage and network architecture for physics and simulation workloads.
