Job summary

Synergy ECP is seeking a System Engineer to design, develop, and implement Utility Cloud Service offerings for the Agency Extended Enterprise. The role includes on-prem IaaS and Paas offerings, plus serving as a liaison to the Commercial Cloud Service (C2S) and AWS environments.

The engineer will support budgeting, migration plans, security designs, and training for customers, ensuring a robust security posture during migrations and cloud adoption efforts.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or related field with 14 years total software engineering experience (10+4 substitute).
• Minimum 5 years experience with Linux and platforms; 3 years leading design and implementation in large enterprise.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST APIs for integration.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and present to management.

Responsibilities

• Support adoption and integration of C2S platforms and solutions.
• Develop budgets, migration plans, security designs, briefs, and support questions.
• Ensure operational posture during migration to C2S and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Lead training for customers on C2S capabilities and coordinate bi-weekly meetings.
