Job summary

Parts Town is seeking a Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-first infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, with strong on‑prem support. This hands-on role emphasizes Terraform-based infrastructure, automation, and reliability, balancing cloud and on‑prem workloads.

You will work across Windows and Linux, implement IaC, manage networking and identity, and optimize costs while ensuring security and uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering/infrastructure administration (Windows, Linux, virtualization).
• 5+ years building infrastructure in Azure and/or GCP.
• Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Solid networking, storage, and AD fundamentals.
• Azure Administrator and/or Google Associate Cloud Engineer certs.
• Experience operating hybrid on-premises and public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate across Azure and GCP, with on-prem support.
• Define and maintain Terraform configurations and IaC pipelines.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell, Bash, and IaC practices.
• Manage identity, networking, storage, and hybrid connectivity.
• Ensure security, uptime, and cost optimization across environments.
• Mentor teammates and document platform standards.
