Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced System Administrator with Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance to manage Windows Server 2019/2022, AD, DNS, CA and Windows clients. Responsibilities include Linux in AWS, on-prem support, and automation using SaltStack, Ansible, Bash and Python.

Strong AWS experience, SaltStack/Ansible mastery, and security certification are required. Telework is not available; full-time on-site position in Annapolis, MD, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Security+ Cert
• 15 years of experience as a System Administrator
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 5 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and support for Windows Server 2019 and 2022 environments, including Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Authorities and manage Windows 10/11 client systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL8/9, AmazonLinux 2023) within AWS.
• Deploy and maintain cloud environments, primarily within AWS, while supporting on-premises server infrastructure.
• Develop, implement and maintain automation scripts using SaltStack, Ansible, Bash and Python for provisioning, configuration management and deployment processes

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
