Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Linux systems in a virtual and physical environment.
• 5+ years of experience working in a mission critical 24x7 production level environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational support of physical and virtualized server OS environments.
• Install and configure server hardware and OS software including firmware and driver updates.
• Prepare monthly capacity/utilization reports and vendor performance assessments.

Skills

Administrator‑level operating system experience with Linux

Troubleshooting issues related to server platforms in a Cloud environment

Scripting experience (Perl, PHP, Shell, VB/PowerShell)

Experience with Disaster Recovery

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
