Job summary

Set of X is actively hiring a Cloud System Administrator to deploy, manage, and secure cloud infrastructure with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes at scale. The role emphasizes automation via Ansible and IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation, plus ingress and networking with Traefik.

A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this mission-focused team. You will work with engineers and DevOps to ensure reliable, scalable cloud services, leveraging Helm charts and best practices to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes in production.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux system administration tasks, including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Remotely connect to Linux systems using SSH for admin and support.
• Install, configure, and maintain software using RPM/YUM.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Configure Traefik ingress controllers and related networking components.
• Gather system status and performance metrics from Linux environments.
• Develop automation using Ansible.
• Deploy cloud infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Install, configure, and maintain apps using Helm charts in Kubernetes.
• Support cloud operations, upgrades, security patches, and config mgmt.
• Collaborate with engineers and DevOps for reliable cloud services.
• Troubleshoot issues to maintain availability.
