Norland Group in Downey, CA is seeking a Senior Cloud Storage Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize high-performance storage across multi-vendor and multi-cloud environments.
The role requires 8+ years of enterprise storage experience, expertise with Dell PowerMax, NetApp, IBM FlashSystem, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), plus strong scripting skills (PowerShell or Ansible). A bachelor’s degree in IT or engineering is required.

- 5+ years with Cisco MDS director switches.
- 5+ years with Dell PowerMax, PowerScale, and Elastic Cloud Storage.
- 5+ years with IBM FlashSystem 7200.
- 5+ years with NetApp Filers and StorageGRID.
- 5+ years with Pure X70/X90 ActiveCluster.
- 5+ years of PowerShell scripting or Ansible.
- 5+ years of VMware environments.
- 5+ years of Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, GCP.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize high‑performance enterprise storage solutions across multi-vendor platforms and multi‑cloud providers.
- Architect enterprise data backup and recovery for diverse on‑prem workloads (VMware, AIX, HP‑UX, NAS, Windows, Linux).
- Automate provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Python, REST APIs, or PowerShell.

Pay Rate: $72-89.10
Contract Duration: One year
OT Pay Rate: Straight Time Pay Rate (Exempt)
Onsite position;
Skill required:
Senior cloud storage solutions architect will provide subject matter expertise in industry, and have specific knowledge of methods including designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance enterprise storage solutions, including across multi-vendor platforms and multi-cloud providers. The senior cloud storage solutions architect will have extensive experience architecting enterprise data backup and recovery for diverse on-premises workloads, including VMware, AIX, HP-UX, NAS, Windows, and Linux environments; deep expertise in Dell PowerMax (block storage), including SRDF, Unisphere, and NVMe integrations; and experience with storage automation using Ansible, Python, REST APIs, or PowerShell for provisioning and configuration management. Must have experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The senior storage solutions architect will posses a strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, and enterprise it infrastructure, be proficient in at least one programming language, excellent interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication.
