Job summary

Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Sr. Consulting Manager, Solutions Engineering to architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions, driving migration, modernization, and platform transformation.

You will partner with AWS architects, Cognizant leadership, and client teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud outcomes. Role combines hands-on technical delivery with consulting leadership, owning architectural outcomes and enabling client teams to build sustainable cloud and DevSecOps

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on AWS.
• Strong hands-on AWS CDK and TypeScript expertise, including authoring L2/L3 constructs and cross-account deployments.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise cloud migration and application modernization including rehosting, replatforming and modernization.
• Strong CI/CD and DevSecOps engineering experience with pipeline design using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, plus IAM and guardrails.
• Demonstrated consulting and client-facing delivery experience including architecture leadership, workshops, and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions aligned with AWS Well-Architected principles.
• Lead cloud migration and application modernization initiatives to AWS, with ECS/Fargate, container-based services, and serverless patterns.
• Design and build Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript for multi-account deployment patterns.
• Engineer secure DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities including automated security gates and CSPM tooling.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, leading discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and knowledge transfer to strengthen client capabilities across AWS and cloud-native engineering.
