Job summary
FGS, LLC seeks a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and integration of secure, scalable cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions supporting enterprise mission requirements for the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland, Maryland.
The selected candidate will translate mission and technical requirements into target architectures, roadmaps, standards, implementation patterns, and actionable migration plans.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance at time of hire.
- Eight+ years in architecture or engineering.
- Five+ years in complex Government network or cloud environments.
- Experience with enterprise integration and migration planning.
- Strong documentation and briefing skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop target cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures and roadmaps.
- Translate mission needs into secure, scalable cloud designs.
- Define interfaces among cloud platforms and enterprise networks.
- Lead workload discovery, assessments, and migration planning.
- Evaluate multi-cloud options and recommend IaaS/PaaS/SaaS solutions.
- Conduct design reviews and document risks, costs, and recommendations.
- Ensure availability, performance, resiliency, and security requirements.
- Coordinate cloud networking, identity, and security services.
- Provide guidance to engineers and cybersecurity personnel.
- Brief leadership on architecture status and risks.
