Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and develop solution strategies that deliver measurable value.

You will guide engagements from concept through deployment and transition, working with the Cloud Center of Excellence, vendors, and delivery teams to ensure compliant, scalable, and cost-effective cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 8+ years of related experience in solution architecture or senior technical leadership.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Advanced Azure and cloud solutions experience; networking, security, and data integration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical advisor to business stakeholders and translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead client engagement activities, including discovery, workshops, and business case development.
• Develop solution strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans for cloud initiatives.
• Provide leadership across the solution lifecycle from concept to deployment and transition.
• Collaborate with vendors, delivery teams, and the Cloud Center of Excellence to ensure standards.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to enable on-time delivery.
