Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our forward-thinking team. This fully remote role lets you design, develop, and oversee cloud strategies and architectures that meet complex business requirements.

You will lead architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, drive security, cost optimization, and migration of on-prem workloads. Strong collaboration with stakeholders and teams, plus excellent communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT architecture experience with a cloud focus.
• Proven experience on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join their forward-thinking team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of cloud strategies and architectures that meet complex business requirements. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud platforms, services, and best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, capable of translating business needs into robust cloud designs and leading technical teams through complex cloud transformations, driving the adoption of cloud technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS , Azure , or GCP to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable cloud architecture designs and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security standards, and cost optimization strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance existing solutions and drive innovation.
• Develop migration strategies and assist in the execution of moving on-premises workloads to the cloud.
• Create comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a significant focus on cloud computing (minimum 4 years in cloud architecture).
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, databases, compute, and storage services.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence technical and business leaders.
