PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team focused on cloud migration, full‑stack development, and secure, scalable systems. You will design software using Python, NodeJS, Angular, and C#, while deploying and maintaining EKS/Kubernetes clusters.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, cloud expertise, and TS/SCI with Poly clearance. Expect hands‑on work, DevOps practice, and collaboration across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with secure systems engineering, systems integration, and reverse engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages (at least two): Python, NodeJS, Angular, JavaScript, C#, SQL.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Splunk, and diagramming applications.
• Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and DevOps practices.
• Background in on‑call support and operational monitoring of critical systems.
• Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Poly.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum Years of Experience: 10.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions using Python, NodeJS, Angular, JavaScript, C#, SQL.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot EKS clusters for high availability.
• Deploy and orchestrate workloads on Kubernetes with rolling updates/canary releases.
• Implement cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
• Design CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD for EKS deployments.
• Integrate observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Implement security frameworks: IAM roles, RBAC, vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with Jira/Confluence for agile management.
• Research, prototype, and propose system improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex software, performance, and infrastructure issues.
