Job summary

Quantum Research International seeks a motivated Senior Solutions Architect for our Huntsville, AL center. You will design and implement system architecture across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, aligning with DoW/Army security requirements and ATO processes.

You will lead a team of engineers, guide DevOps modernization, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions while ensuring high availability and security across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 4–7+ years experience in systems or network engineering, system design/enterprise integration, or cloud computing technologies.
• Proven experience with virtualization and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of systems across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments at various Information Levels.
• Provide technical guidance to a team of network and system engineers and infrastructure technicians.
• Ensure architectural alignment with government security frameworks and DoW cloud architectures.
• Develop high-availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Serve as senior technical advisor and architecture authority.
• Guide DevOps automation, modular development, and modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders and produce briefing materials.
• Support compliance efforts toward Authority to Operate (ATO) on government networks.
