Job summary

Hecker Fink LLP in New York seeks a Senior Systems & Security Administrator to manage the Firm’s cloud-first tech environment and oversee controls that support its information security program. This hands-on role spans infrastructure administration and security operations across three offices.

The successful candidate will operate within an ISO/IEC 27001-aligned program, document procedures, and produce audit evidence while collaborating with security, IT, and end-user teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of systems administration experience.
• 3+ years in a senior production environment with formal security/compliance programs.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, HIPAA or equivalent.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or Microsoft SC-100/SC-300/MD-102 preferred.
• Deep administration across Microsoft cloud stack: Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender.
• Strong automation skills in PowerShell, Graph, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support New York, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles offices as a senior technical escalation point.
• Hardening and maturation of systems; identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Purview, and endpoint management via Intune/Autopatch.
• Manage Cisco Meraki across three offices and cloud-delivered web security platform.
• Operate EDR/defense tools, triage alerts with SOC, and participate in Incident Response.
