Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer to support accreditation and operation of a modern OSINT-enabled cloud platform for DoD/IC. You will help centralize TCPED processing and enable secure data analytics across cloud, AI/ML, and cross-domain transfer systems.

You will implement security controls, support RMF processes, STIG validation, and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with DevSecOps and government personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience or Master's with 10–13 years.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT/IAM Level II or higher certification.
• Hands-on Linux and scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl).
• Experience with cloud services (C2S, AWS) and security controls.
• RMF processes, certification, and continuous monitoring familiarity.
• Experience with STIGs, RMF/GRC platforms (Xacta/eMASS).
• Security across CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and feedback on cybersecurity artifacts and architecture.
• Assess BOE results to support RMF cybersecurity authorization.
• Conduct vulnerability analyses for cloud-based systems.
• Implement and manage security controls for containerized apps and cloud infra.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to ensure secure coding and engineering practices.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and engineering tools.
• Develop scripts for STIG compliance and validation.
• Maintain continuous monitoring for cloud architectures.
• Assist government staff with IATT, ATO, and change requests.
• Stay current with evolving cloud security threats and best practices.
