Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help scale security across cloud, on-prem, and container environments. You will partner with engineering teams to implement robust controls, threat modeling, and automation.

You will review designs, lead vulnerability management, support audits, and contribute to policy documentation. The role requires 4+ years in security engineering, Kubernetes experience, scripting skills, and strong communication in a fast-paced healthcare tech

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering focusing on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash, Terraform or similar.
• Strong communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent and collaborative work ability.
• Engineering discipline experience.
• Cloud and on-prem security implementation experience.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS, antivirus, authentication, logs, filtering.
• Networking/security monitoring tools and related protocols.
• Knowledge of CIS, NIST, OWASP principles and best practices.
• Web tech familiarity (Web apps/services/APIs) and network/web protocols.
• Problem solving under pressure; travel may be irregular.
• BS degree in CS or related field.
• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, OSCP.

Responsibilities

• Review and promote security controls and mitigations across teams via architecture reviews.
• Assess designs for security posture using threat modeling.
• Develop automation using Python and related tools.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, cloud, and containers.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers and cloud.
• Contribute to compliance efforts (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from security perspective.
• Assist with customer and vendor audits and external requirements.
• Participate in on-call roster, including after-hours.
