CoreWeave is redefining AI-scale cloud infrastructure with a security-first approach. We seek a Senior Security Engineer II to design and deploy robust security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP, emphasizing IAM, monitoring, and data protection.

You will automate toil via Terraform and collaborate with product engineering and security teams to raise our security baseline. The role requires 5+ years in cloud security, strong Python/Go skills, and experience with CI/CD and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in cloud security architecture and engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Deep understanding of public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in designing, implementing, and automating security controls in cloud environments.
• Proficient in Go and/or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling, especially Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable security solutions for public cloud environments.
• Define and maintain security baseline requirements, policies, and standards for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead the design, implementation, and automation of security controls in cloud environments (IAM, detection/monitoring, configuration management, data protection).
• Utilize everything-as-code tools such as Terraform to automate toil.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Engineering and security teams.
