Job summary

Osaic is seeking a Cloud Engineer to own stability and security of core cybersecurity platforms. You will manage Tenable/Nessus, Varonis, Defender and Purview, Splunk, and Azure security services in a hybrid environment.

The role requires root-cause analysis, durable scalable solutions, and collaboration with a small team to onboard new tools and automate processes. Flexible, hands-on engineering mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or platform security roles.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing enterprise security tools (Nessus, Varonis, Defender, Purview, Splunk, Azure).
• Strong vulnerability management and data protection knowledge.
• Proficient with Windows and Linux systems; scripting skills in Python/PowerShell/Bash.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a SME for Tenable/Nessus, Varonis, Defender, Purview, Splunk, and Azure security services.
• Design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable security tooling environment across cloud and hybrid infra.
• Develop and expand data loss prevention and protection use cases with Varonis and Purview.
• Write automation and integration code to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Provide Tier3 operational support and participate in incident investigations.
