Job summary

Brandon Consulting Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to implement and secure the agency’s cloud and computing infrastructure.

You will lead security architecture, IAM, network security, and incident response across Azure environments in alignment with enterprise standards. The role requires senior-level expertise in cloud security, governance, and risk management, with hands-on experience across security operations and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Enterprise cloud experience required.
• Hands-on cloud security in Azure and governance across enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud security in regulated environments is a plus.
• Ability to design secure cloud architectures and enforcement of security controls within pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify cloud security vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation.
• Lead complex cloud security initiatives and provide technical directions.
• Influence security decisions to prevent insecure configurations in production.
• Explain risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support audits and assessments with security documentation and evidence.
• Review cloud solutions for security risk and define controls.
• Develop Azure policies to enforce standardization and compliance.
• Monitor security events using SIEM and coordinate incident response with SOC.
