Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Security Engineer in Mechanicsville, VA to architect, implement, and secure the agency's cloud environments. You will lead security across Azure migrations, IAM, network security, and governance, while coordinating with multiple IT teams and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Senior-level cloud security engineer with hands-on Azure experience.
• Experience implementing Azure Policy and automation.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC and PAM.
• Experience in regulated environments and audits.
• Familiar with SIEM tools: Splunk, Sentinel.
• Ability to communicate technical risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify cloud security vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation.
• Lead complex cloud security initiatives and guide engineers.
• Prevent insecure configurations from reaching production and enforce security gates.
• Develop Azure policies and automation for incident response.
• Monitor security events with SIEM and coordinate with SOC.
• Review firewall and NSG rule requests for compliance.
• Produce architecture diagrams, IP schemes, and access controls.
