Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant - Security for AWS Professional Services in Denver, CO.

You will design, implement, and manage secure AWS solutions, guiding customers through cloud adoption with best practices and risk management throughout project lifecycles. Key tasks include architecting scalable security architectures, leading incident response efforts, and mentoring teams while collaborating with stakeholders on migration strategies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• 1+ years in advanced incident response to lead response efforts including leading detection and analysis efforts and managing eradication processes.
• 5+ years of experience with security services and best practices including: implementing security controls and optimizing security measures.
• 3+ years of scripting language, or 2+ years of customer facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
