Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Delivery Consultant for ProServe to design, implement, and manage complex AWS solutions aligned with customer goals. You will guide migrations, provide technical leadership, and mentor teams across projects in a dynamic cloud environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud architecture and large-scale delivery with a strong background in security, compliance, and pre-sales engagement. This role emphasizes customer outcomes and scalable, secure architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• 5+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
• 3+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
• Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)
• AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
• Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code, deploying infrastructure as code, and implementing enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti‑DDOS, SIEM)
• Experience in the healthcare and life sciences industry, including familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (HIPAA, GxP) and clinical data standards (OMOP, CDISC, FHIR)

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
