Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Lead Systems Architect in Sterling, VA to design and deliver the on-premise secure multi-tenant infrastructure and align capabilities with mission needs. You will oversee Platform and Operations teams, craft IaC baselines, and produce design and deployment documents while ensuring resilience, security, and interoperability.

The ideal candidate has deep cloud architecture experience across AWS/Azure/GCP, strong networking and virtualization knowledge, and experience with

Qualifications

Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud design patterns.
Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and operating systems.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
Ability to design and implement highly available and scalable cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver, and govern a secure multi-tenant on-premise hybrid cloud architecture.
Oversee Platform and Operations and Tenant teams to ensure interoperability and resilience.
Develop design, deployment, and IaC documentation; produce user manuals and reports.
Analyze requirements and provide innovative cloud cluster computing strategies.
