Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and develop cloud-centric architectures ensuring reliability of mission-critical environments. The role emphasizes automated workflows over manual deployments and requires leadership in a security-focused setting.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s in a related technical field, have an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, and possess experience in Agile development and RMF/NIST controls. DHS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen.
Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
8+ years of directly relevant systems engineering experience; DHS Suitability.
Proven leadership skills and experience leading large teams.
Experience in Agile development in a leadership role.
Experience with cybersecurity attack-mitigation techniques and architecture.
Familiarity with Government information security policies, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provide Systems Engineering project leadership for a large cybersecurity system.
Coordinate teams in development, integration, and testing of cybersecurity solutions.
Interface with Customer, stakeholders, and end-users on priorities and requirements.
Represent the voice of the user in development.
Collaborate across project teams.
Support risk assessments and mitigation.
Provide systems engineering expertise and leadership.
