Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to manage CNAPP platforms, automate security policies, and build secure infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll develop reusable Terraform modules, drive automation, and guide engineering teams on remediation and secure-by-default configurations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, compliance with FedRAMP and NIST controls, and leadership in security discussions within a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years hands-on cloud security engineering experience.
• Experience administering Wiz or comparable CNAPP solutions.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and API integrations.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and strong experience with Azure or GCP.
• Terraform and HCL experience developing reusable modules.
• OPA/Rego or policy-as-code framework for guardrails.
• Strong analytical skills to assess vulnerabilities and risk.
• U.S. citizenship required for FedRAMP regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, GovCloud or IL environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes manifests and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Excellent communication and ability to lead technical discussions.

• Cloud Security Engineering: Administer and optimize CNAPP platforms and cloud posture.
• Policy Development and Automation: Create and maintain security rules as code.
• Infrastructure Security: Develop Terraform modules and secure patterns.
• Multi-Cloud Protection: Scale security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Risk Assessment and Remediation: Prioritize fixes and reduce false positives.
• Compliance and Continuous Monitoring: Support FedRAMP and mapping requirements.
• Engineering Enablement: Enable engineering teams with remediation guidance.
• Security Integration and Collaboration: Integrate controls into CI/CD and cross-functional work.
