Job summary

CDM Smith is hiring a Senior Security Architect to lead the design of secure multi-cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). You will mentor staff, refine security playbooks, and align architecture with regulatory standards while partnering with Enterprise Architecture and security leadership.

You will influence secure design decisions across cloud initiatives, overseeing risk, incident response, and cost-efficient security solutions in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and articulate a scalable and resilient vision for secure public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Advise our Cloud team and Cloud Center of Excellence on secure deployments and configurations.
• Review architecture plans and closely partner with our Enterprise Architecture group.
• Lead security architecture design with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
• Provide guidance on secure design, build, testing and deployment across cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security, architecture and engineering leadership to support business objectives.
• Identify and enforce enterprise standards to support secure, resilient and compliant solutions.
• Serve as an escalation point for incident response and security risk management.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge with project leads.
