Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead the architecture of public, private and hybrid clouds with emphasis on secure infrastructure and applications. You will drive security across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, mentor team members, and align with cybersecurity strategies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• GIAC certifications: GCAD, GCSA, GCLD, GPCS preferred.
• Microsoft SC-100, SC-500, AZ-305, AB-100, AI-500 preferred.
• Gov Cloud deployments.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
• Excellence in communicating business risk from cybersecurity issues.
• Experience driving measurable improvement in monitoring and response capabilities at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and articulate a scalable and resilient vision for secure public, private and hybrid clouds.
• Advise our Cloud team and Cloud CoE on secure deployments and configurations.
• Lead security architecture design with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
• Provide guidance on secure design, build, testing and deployment across cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor junior teammates and guide them in security architecture.
• Draft cybersecurity strategies aligning with business objectives and regulations.
